Hvar is an island belonging to the central Dalmatia group of islands, and due to a big number of sunny days it is often called Sunny Hvar.
The ferry line (a 35min-long ride) between Drvenik and Sućuraj, a town at the east end of the island connected with the main town of Hvar at the west part of the island with an 84km-long road, makes the organisation of visits to this island very simple. You can visit the sights of Jelsa, Stari Grad and Hvar as well as other historical heritage and natural beauties which the rest of the island abounds in.
